Atlantic Contracting & Specialties is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter to join our team as an Account Manager specializing in Asbestos and Lead Remediation. The focus of this position is sales, customer development, estimating and project execution. This position requires a highly motivated professional, problem solver and detail-oriented individual with a strong sales acumen, the ability to communicate effectively, lead negotiations, multitask and create trusting relationships with existing and new clients.

  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective customers through estimates, proposals, sales presentations, and exceptional project management
  • Develop customer relationships to ensure preferred vendor status
  • Ability to stay up with, or on top of, changing regulatory requirements associated with environmental services
  • Solicit bid packages including drawings, specifications, surveys, details about customer needs, contractor requirements/interest, and help to develop bid strategies on a project-by-project basis
  • Book orders, safely and successfully execute projects, ensure timely billings, and collect receivables in enough volume to achieve assigned sales and margin goals
  • Assure accurate tracking of project costs
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Ability and desire to work with others in the organization
  • Other duties as assigned



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience with asbestos abatement and lead remediation
  • Knowlege of State and Federal rules and regulations
  • Industry knowledge of basic commercial and/or industrial environmental services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel within the territory
  • Must past a preemployment drug screen
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications


  • Associates or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in industrial or commercial asbestos abatement, remediation, decontamination, or similar field
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills a must
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
